Tips for Printing
- Check your printer. Make sure your printer is full of colored ink if printing at home to avoid discoloration or streaking.
- Choose your paper. Use card stock or thicker paper to create more a sturdy print. Regular computer paper is fine too but using thicker paper will be more durable.
- Leave the scale as is. Don’t adjust the scale of the PDF when printing, meaning let it print at full size to get an 8×10 image.
- Let it dry. Avoid touching the printed image and set it aside to let the ink fully dry before hanging up.
- Laminate or slide in a page protector. If you’re going to be hanging the schedule in a high traffic area like on your fridge, consider laminating or placing it a plastic page protector sheet. This will keep the schedule from getting dirty or ruined as you use it throughout the year.
Where to Hang the Schedule
This is really up to you but a good idea would be to keep it in a high traffic area where you are sure to see it often. Hanging it on the refrigerator in your kitchen, in the hallway by your main door, or in a mudroom or garage entrance will ensure you see it often. Visual reminders can help us keep our goals at the forefront of our minds and can be helpful in achieving those goals.
Wherever you hang it, be sure to leave a comment below to let me know and maybe inspire another outdoor-loving family!
See you out there!
